'FAME' changes to 'INOX'

INOX Leisure Limited has announced the brand change of its multiplex chain ‘FAME’ to ‘INOX’, making it the largest integrated cinema chain in India. To celebrate the occasion, a specially designed AV ( Feature Presentation dater ) was unveiled, the music of which has been designed by Academy Award® winning Sound Designer & Editor , Resul Pookutty.

INOX has launched an extensive marketing campaign starting from 18th September, 2013 across print, outdoor , radio , & digital activations in all cities which has multiplexes under the FAME brand name. In addition , guests will experience a range of branding and interactive activities inside all the multiplexes situated in Mumbai, Bangalore , Kolkata, Chennai, Pune, Nasik, Panchkula, Aurangabad, Dhanbad, Anand, Bharuch, and Vadodara.

Speaking on the brand change Alok Tandon, CEO of INOX Leisure Limited, said, “In a country where movies are a way of life, we are grossly under-screened. INOX has been on a steady expansion mode through organic, as well as inorganic growth on the journey to its current leadership position. As we announce the brand change from FAME to INOX, we will continue to provide the best movie going offering to our guests and emphasize on our tag line ‘LIVE THE MOVIE’ as the complete INOX experience.”

To begin with, the brand change will initially be experienced by guests in Mumbai, Bangalore and Kolkata followed by the remaining cities in a phased manner.
