Aaj Tak announces the 5th Edition of Agenda Aaj Tak

The ‘Hindi Jagat Ka Maha Manch’ is getting bigger every year, as Aaj Tak the Nation’s undisputed News leader for 15 years presents the 5^th edition of its award winning annual event- “Agenda Aaj Tak”. The two day conclave, scheduled for 6^th & 7^thDecember, 2016 will see the convergence of the most powerful and influential faces across politics, defense, entertainment and sports.

With an impressive line-up of the most distinguished stalwarts coming together, the two day conclave will prove to be defining in more ways than one. This year Agenda Aaj Tak will tap into the current catch phrase in demonetization context of Black & White and will dissect complicated issues on the national agenda in Black & White.

The news developments around demonetization and the recent surgical strikes across the LOC have both become turning points in the national agenda and as the nation goes through this crucial juncture in history, Aaj Tak takes the lead in shaping the way forward by bringing all key stakeholders on one platform. Aaj Tak has proven time and again that when there is any news of national significance, the nation tunes into only Aaj Tak and trusts it like none other to stay abreast with the latest developments and impact. With the pioneering initiative of Agenda Aaj Tak, the channel will once again get the leaders together to update the viewers on the nation’s agenda.

The conclave will be opened with the session- BJP ki Agni Pariksha with speaker- Amit Shah, President, BJP addressing the audience, followed by a session on Satta Milegi Dobara with Harish Rawat, Chief Minister, Uttarakhand & Sukhbir Singh Badal, Deputy Chief Minister, Punjab.

A fiery session is expected on Desh Ka Mudda as Asaduddin Owaisi, President-AIMIM, Subramanian Swamy, Leader, BJP and MP, Rajya Sabha and Digvijaya Singh, General Secretary, Congress will debate in the high voltage session. Bollywood stars, Anushka Sharma and Ranveer Singh will bring glamour and stardom to the day in the sessionsLady Sultan! and Ranveer Ki Befikri respectively. General Bikram Singh (Retd.), Former Chief of Army Staff   and General V. P. The first day of the conclave will end with session by Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev followed by a session on AAP Ka Vision by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

The second day of the conclave will start with Prakash Javadekar, Minister for Human Resource Development, addressing the audience in the session- Padhai Ka Badlega Pattern? followed by a session by Capt. Amarinder Singh, President, Punjab Pradesh Congress Committe on the session – Punjab Ka Sardar Kaun?

Former Indian Cricketer Virender Sehwag will share his views, opinions and more onSehwag Ki Twittergiri! Anupam Shrivastava, Chairperson and Managing Director, BSNL is slated to speak on the Telecom Revolution. This will be followed by the session Paisa Yeh Paisa with comedians Raju Srivastav, Sunil Pal, Zakir Khan, Aditi Mittal and Nitin Gupta (Rivaldo).

Ravi Shankar Prasad, Minister for Law & Justice and IT and Anand Sharma, Deputy Leader of Opposition, Rajya Sabha will speak in the session  Badal Raha Hai India while Piyush Goyal, MoS (IC) for New and Renewable Energy, Mines, Power and Coal, Mohammed Salim, Senior Leader, CPI (M) & R. P. N. Singh, Leader, Congress will discuss- Badle Note, Badlega India?

The Kashmir Issue will be debated in the session Mission Kashmir with Jitendra Singh, MoS, Prime Minister’s office, Muzaffar Hussain Baig, Senior Leader, J&K People’s Democratic Party and Manish Tewari, Senior Leader, Congress.

The session UP Ka Big Boss Kaun? will see debates on the politics of Uttar Pradesh between Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, MoS (IC) for Minority Affairs and Parliamentary Affairs, Raj Babbar, President, Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee and Naresh Agrawal, MP, Rajya Sabha, Samajwadi Party.

Farooq Abdulla, Former Chief Minister, J&K will speak in the special session – Kashmir par Abdullah Deewana.

The day will end with session by Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Road Transport and Highways where he will speak on Aadha Ho Gaya, Aadha Baaki Hai.
