Media agency MPG’s old hand Jeffery Crasto is not going to be a part of the group anymore. He is going to finish his duties within a week and then move on to ‘other assignments’. There is a word that he may not be in the media buying space.

Crasto, a veteran, who has invested more than 28 years into the media trade, now thinks that the industry is losing the plot. According to media reports, Crasto believes that clients insist upon a guarantee on cost per rating point (CPRP) – something that the agencies cannot control the measure of.

Crasto is going to come together with Chrome Design and Media – a media advisory and consultancy firm that initiated operations only in January this year. The company analyses the distribution of a channel that helps in understanding and evaluating the dynamics of the souk.

While Crasto would work with Chrome Design and Media, he would also offer consultancy services to Youth Sports Marketing (YSM) – a sports marketing firm that is all set to organize an AC Milan football camp in 12 markets.

Jeffrey Crasto started his corporate climb while he was in college. He worked with Creative Unit and later moved to Frank Simoes. Following this, he spent about 8 years with Contract Advertising and after quitting as Media Director, he partnered with MPG as Media Director. He later became the President and Chief Buying Officer at MPG.
