Legend S R Mani Ayer passes away

Advertising legend S R Mani Ayer, who was the former Managing Director & CEO of Ogilvy & Mather India has passed away today. According to the reports, SR Mani was was ailing for the past few days.

Mani is survived by his wife, daughter and son. Mani was born on September 5, 1935 and had a career of 45 years in advertising. He was the Managing Director at Ogilvy for 36 years from 1958 – 1994.
