BARC Wk 47 ratings: Colors continues lead; Sony Pal at No. 4 in U+R

BARC ratings for Week 47 (November 19-25) of 2016 [HSM (U+R) : NCCS All : 4+ Individuals] saw Colors continuing its strong show. Meanwhile, Sony Pal overtook Sony Entertainment Television to be placed at No. 4 this week. 

Colors remained in its numero uno position among Hindi general entertainment channels in Week 47 as well, garnering gross viewership of 655,190, a slight increase from 651,395 recorded last week. ‘Naagin 2’ maintained its lead amongst the most watched shows on Hindi GECs, registering 14,599 Impressions (000s) this week. Meanwhile, another show on Colors, ‘Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki’, was placed at No. 3, garnering 10,336 Impressions (000s). 

Placed at the second spot, Star Plus, too, witnessed an increase in its gross viewership at 636,429 in Week 47 from 627,412 recorded last week. Its show, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’, was the fourth most watch show on Hindi GECs, registering 9,829 Impressions (000s). Another chow on the channel, ‘Saath Nibhaana Sathiya’, was at No. 5 with 9,642 Impressions (000s). 

Zee TV remained at No. 3 in Week 47, garnering a gross viewership of 465,944, compared to 468,175 recorded in Week 46. Its show ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ climbed up a notch to No. 2, registering 11,113 Impressions (000s). 

On the other hand, Sony Pal grabbed the fourth spot among Hindi GECs, garnering a gross viewership of 462,496 in Week 47, an increment from 453,971 recorded last week. The channel was placed in the fifth spot last week. 

Meanwhile, Sony Entertainment Television climbed up two places from No. 7 last week to No. 5 in Week 47. The channel recorded growth in its gross viewership from 408,526 recorded in Week 46 to 412,004 recorded this week. 

Zee Anmol, which was placed at No. 4 last week, slipped to the sixth position in Week 47, witnessing a decline in its gross viewership to 407,025 from 423,923 recorded in Week 46. 

Star Utsav, too, slipped a notch to No. 7 in Week 47, registering a gross viewership of 402,699, compared to 423,923 recorded in Week 46. 

On the other hand, Life OK saw gains this week, climbing up a notch to the eighth spot. The channel garnered a gross viewership of 366,264, an increase from 364,296 recorded in Week 46. 

Sony SAB dipped a notch to No. 9 in Week 47, recording a gross viewership of 360,533, a slight decrease from 384,296 recorded last week. 

After witnessing a steep fall last week, Rishtey remained unchanged at No. 10 in Week 47. However, the channel’s gross viewership increased from 329,705 recorded in Week 46 to 346,771 recorded this week.
