Business news is ripe for a digital-led re-invention: Saket Saurabh

BloombergQuint has got on board yet another senior former official from Network18. Saket Saurabh has joined Raghav Bahl’s venture as Business Head, Digital and Marketing. He will be reporting to Anil Uniyal, CEO, Bloomberg Quint.

On joining BloombergQuint, Saurabh told AdGully, “Business news is ripe for a digital-led re-invention. BloombergQuint is set to lead that shift at scale. I am excited to be a part of a stellar team and hope to contribute in the creation of a pioneering market leader.”

Commenting on Saurabh’s appointment, Anil Uniyal said, “Having worked with Saket for several years in the past, I am delighted to have him back in the fold of BloombergQuint. Saket has rich media experience and brings with him a wealth of digital and marketing expertise, which will help us immensely as we embark on our journey of delivering content in a digital first model that will redefine the business news space.”

Prior to joining BloombergQuint, Saurabh had led #fame, a pioneering digital and live video tech start-up in India, as its CEO for two years. Before that, he was with Network18 as Head - Marketing, with CNBC-TV18, and then as General Manager, Corporate Development, with Network18 Media & Investments. He had also handled marketing for Aaj Tak and India Today channels.

Saurabh began his career in advertising with J. Walter Thompson in 2001 in account management. He moved on to Leo Burnett in 2002, where he handled Client Servicing, Business Development, and Brand Planning.
