Channel V to air Microsoft VFest 2015 today evening

Leading Youth Entertainment Channel, Channel V brings for their viewers, the ultimate youth festival of India- MICROSOFT VFEST 2015. Be a witness to the grand finale of the extravaganza which will air on Saturday, 21st March, 6.30pm onwards. An initiative by India’s leading youth entertainment channel Channel V, VFest is a first of its kind pan India college festival. Undertaken to create a national level platform for students from all fields and turfs to congregate, the festival records the largest footfall as compared to any other college level fest in the country.

An initiative by Channel V- MICROSOFT VFEST 2015 energized by POND’S MEN, brings together young talent from all over the country and provided them with the single biggest platform to Beat The Best. After various zonals held across Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune and Kolkata, the fest culminated into a two day grand finale at Baga Grounds, Goa on 13th and 14th February, 2015. Winners of VFest get a unique opportunity to pursue their passion which includes internships, scholarships, prizes in cash & kind. Each year the aim is to re-invent and present the festival in a bigger and better avatar. The fifth edition of VFest recorded a footfall of over 40000+ where1500 finalists were flown down to Goa for the grand finale.

With over 30 categories ranging from sports, art, literature, music, dance, theatre, fashion & more this was indeed the biggest youth festival. Apart from the thrilling finale the event was packed with workshops, seminars, student activities & engagements. VFest also saw electrifying performances by renowned artists like Bollywood heartthrobs Varun Dhawan and Ayushmann Khurrana,  Singing superstar Mika Singh, , popular alternative rock / rap rock Underground Authority and Indian female playback singer Shilpa Rao.
