Future Generali Life Insurance launches a new website

INTRODUCTION

·         To further enhance interface with its valued customers and better support their requirements, Future Generali Life Insurance recently revamped its website.

PHILOSOPHY

·         The objective was to keep it simple and reader-friendly with de-jargonised and relevant information across sections.

APPROACH

·         A detailed research and user testing was done before finalising the look and feel.

·         The company had a global benchmarking approach to ensure that the site is contemporary, innovative and in sync with recent consumer behaviour and technological trends, thereby setting new standards in the industry.

FUNCTIONALITY

·         Responsive

·         Easy-to-navigate

HIGHLIGHTS

·         A vibrant home-page with lot of colour and character, unlike a financial services website.

·         A new and interesting section which helps the customer understand his “Future Ready” score. There are three simple online calculators that enable the customer to identify his financial preparedness and accordingly plan for the future.

·         Neatly segregated sub-sections within each product.

·         Floating navigation across the site – This allows a user to contact an agent, pay online, find a branch, and check the NAV for the day from any page of the site.

INSURANCE MADE SIMPLE

·         Keeping in mind the objective of providing relevant information in a simplified manner, a new section called ‘Life Insurance Made Simple’ has been introduced. This includes information that the customer needs to be aware of before and after buying the policy, enabling the customer to make an ‘informed decision’.

KEY FEATURES & UNIQUE CAPABILITIES

·         Large dynamic banners on the homepage which can be changed basis the theme of that period.

·         Mobile and Tab friendly

GROWTH (Analytics)

·         There were over 1.6 lakh visitors in 2014

·         Bounce rate has gone down by 1/5th

·         Approx 4 pages viewed per visit. An improvement of 45% over the old site
