Once again, some scintillating music is in the air. Yes! The Brad Hammond group is back - this time with their absolutely new album - Greene Street. With a blend of Spanish jazz, French dance and neo folk, the group has once again created a masterpiece. While Brad himself has featured on his acoustic guitar with his exquisite playing style, Will Matina on cello, Jason Dimatteo and Mathias Kunzli on percussion and Nick Russo on banjo and mandolin, have together created a never-heard-before piece of melody.

The vibes of this beautiful composition can be felt right from the title track, wherein Brad starts with a symphonious harmony and progresses to some funky rhythms. Exclusion of a drum kit in the album makes the entire environment organic. All the songs in the album have been limited to a length of three and a half minutes to provide listeners with a variety.

If you prefer using headphones, then the "Stomp", created with utmost grace and transiting from guitar to banjo and then back to guitar, is going to be an entirely new experience for you. “Chesapeake” is yet another elegant composition, which encompasses a number of human emotions in a single song, ranging from meditative to energetic. "Further East" carries the listener to an altogether different genre by touching on the Middle Eastern arrangements, while holding on to blitzkrieg sound - typical to Brad Hammonds Group. Last but not the least; "Summer Feel" portrays complex finger work and excellent use of layers, hence marking a memorable ending of Greene Street.

Guitarmonk founder, Kapil Srivastava said that Greene Street is a wonderful and creative musical construct with flavors of humor, beauty, elegance and talent.
