Guitarmonk launches singer Archita Bhattacharya!

Leading on the mission of preserving definitive arts, Guitarmonk has always been proactive in nurturing the talent of new-comers, especially the young generation passionate for Indian Classical Music. And this time, it is Archita Bhattacharya, the young and versatile singer from Mumbai, India. It was the occasion of Durga Puja. And in this serene environment and divine atmosphere, Guitarmonk announced the release of their new Indian Classical Music Album - Madhuvarsha - 'Rain of Love' (an album series on Indian Classical Vocal Music) sung by Archita Bhattacharya. The previous volume is sung by Padam Shree Sumitra Guha, one of the renowned classical singers of India.

Archita, the Mumbai based singer was in Kali Bari, New Delhi recently to perform live on the auspicious festival of Durga Puja and seek the blessings of Maa Durga. She was accompanied by Mr Mohammad Vakil (winner of famous TV show Sa re ga ma), who not only is an eminent name in the music industry, but also has many feathers in his cap. Together they performed very elegantly and the response from the audience was overwhelming.

It is noteworthy that Ms. Archita Bhattacharya has been performing on stage since the tender age of three has also given her voice to a many English numbers as well. She is well versed with Bengali, Bollywood and even Western numbers too. A performing artist, with a new melodic voice and deep passion for music.
