Housing.com appoints Silicon Valley veteran Mani Rangarajan as CFO

Housing.com, India’s most innovative and trusted real estate platform today announced the appointment of Mani Rangarajan as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO). A Silicon Valley veteran with over 20 years of experience, Mani will be responsible for driving the company’s financial strategy and planning while also playing a key role on the senior management team.

With deep global finance, operations and strategy expertise in the internet and financial services sectors, Mani’s career footprint has extended to over 20 countries in the Americas, Europe, Middle-East, Asia and Africa. Mani has held executive level roles in companies such as Citigroup and Yahoo! and with leading Silicon Valley start-up companies including Boku, Kosmix and Media Boost.  He has been involved with several start-ups in India in an advisory role.

While at Citigroup, Mani acquired a strong expertise in operations and risk management and was considered a global expert in the transaction services business.  Mani worked for six years at Yahoo!, where he reported to the Chief Financial Officer.  He worked closely with the executive team and played a key role in strategic planning, business operations, corporate finance and investor relations.  Over the last seven years, he has been a senior finance executive at Silicon Valley start-ups where his experience has included strategic finance, business model innovation and monetization, fund-raising, M & A, business development and data analytics.

Mani holds an M.B.A from the Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar, a PGDM from IIM Kolkota and is also a Cost & Works Accountant.
