L'Oreal's Brand ambassador Sonam Kapoor to represent the cosmetic giant at Cannes Film Festival for the 2nd year

Sonam A Kapoor- Brand ambassador of L’Oreal Paris will represent the cosmetic giant at Cannes Film festival for the 2nd year. The actress and diva spoke about her plans today in Mumbai. Dressed in electric blue pants and black jackets, she looked absolutely vivacious. She also sported L’Oreal Paris L’Or Electric make up look which has specially been created through products launched for Cannes Film festival 2012.
 
 L’Oréal Paris celebrates 15 years of glitz and glamour as the official make- up artist for Cannes Film Festival this year. Joining them in this celebration will be L’Oréal Paris brand ambassador, Sonam A Kapoor, who will grace the red carpet at the prestigious closing ceremony of the Cannes Film Festival on the 27th of May.
 
Sonam will be joined by approximately 35 other representatives of L’Oréal Paris from across the globe including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Frieda Pinto, Eva Longoria, Jane Fonda and Bianca Balti. Sonam will walk the red carpet alongside Gong Li, Andie MacDowell at the closing ceremony of the Festival de Cannes on 27th May 2012.
 
Once again, L'Oréal Paris has pushed the boundaries of make-up with its new "L'Or" range, entitled "L’Or Electric". This collection has been specially created for the Cannes Film Festival, and will enable L'Oréal Paris' make-up artists to create the most daring and glamorous looks on the Croisette. Eyes, lips and nails will be full of bold colour. Celebrities will sport the Glam Team's inspired creations on the red carpet throughout the 12 days of the Festival.
 
While at Cannes Film Festival, Sonam will be sporting the Glam Team's inspired ‘L’Or Electric’ creations; for the second consecutive year, world renowned make -up artists Karim Rahman and Billy B will deliver their individual interpretations of the "L'Or Electric" theme. The L’Oréal Paris' Beauty Artistry team including colourist Christophe Robin, hairdressers John Nollet and Stéphane Lancien, along with Artists like Joëlle Ciocco - L'Oréal Paris' Global Facialist -and Tom Bachik, manicurist to the stars, will also be present to lend their leading-edge Beauty expertise.
 
Sonam Kapoor says “The Cannes Film festival is the oldest and most prestigious film festival where the best in cinema gets showcased. I am excited to be at the closing ceremony where the best films will get awarded. It is a moment of pride for me to represent L’Oréal Paris on the red carpet and I hope to make an impression with the L’Or Electric red carpet look created for me by the L’Oréal Paris make-up experts. I am personally a huge fan of bright pop make up, which I feel accentuates my features.”
 
Talking about Sonam sporting the L’Or Electric look on the Cannes red carpet, Manashi Guha, Marketing Manager, L’Oréal Paris (India), said: “This year L’Oréal Paris celebrates 15 years as the official make-up artist of the Cannes Film Festival. The theme for Cannes this year is L’Or Electric, which is a combination of bold pop colors and vibrant hues like electric blue and intense ruby dominating the range.  All our brand ambassadors will sport this look on the red carpet reflecting their own individuality, universality and beauty.”
