 One’s social status doesn’t truly define their character, as they say “There are people so poor that all they have in life is money.” Kartik and Ankita’s relationship is a true testament of how true love looks beyond family backgrounds, religion and status and the fact that love is above all these differences.

Kartik, a young charming boy belongs to a very affluent family. As fate would have it, he falls for Ankita, who hails from a middle class family. Ankita’s father works for Kartik’s father. Kartik’s mother is extremely fond of Ankita’s simplicity and is aware of her son’s feelings towards Ankita.  But, she conveniently chooses to ignore it as she feels that eventually both of them will realize that they belong to completely different backgrounds and that their relationship will never culminate into marriage.

Unaware of all this, Kartik goes with what his heart says and proposes Ankita for marriage and she  accepts his proposal. They both feel that eventually they will be able to convince their families to accept their decision. However, both the families are against this marriage. Not giving up on their love, both of them elope believing that their families will have to accept their decision now that they are married.

Things turn awry and their families are not a bit happy with their actions. The couple is forced to rent a place and start their journey on a challenging note. Trouble starts brewing as Kartik has to face the hardship that he never thought of. Will Kartik’s love towards Ankita enable him to give up all the comforts and face these new challenges?
