IPL sets floor price for new franchisees

The Indian Premier League has set the floor price for the bidding of two new franchisees at $225 million.
The auction will be held on January 19, 2010. The IPL will have two new franchisees from 2011.

As per the reports, IPL chairman and commissioner Lalit Modi has divulged that a deal has been done with a watch company and refused to give any other details.

Modi has also revealed that the IPL season 3 will have CCTVs and turnstiles, apart from the permanent cabling for TV production.

The final of IPL 3 will be played in Navi Mumbai and two semi finals will be played in Bangalore.
