Nissan Motors to launch its new compact car, ‘Micra’!

Nissan Motors, last day, revealed its global compact car ‘Micra’. It will be produced in 5 countries among which India is one.

Nissan Motors is a multinational automaker headquartered in Japan.
The company plans to produce Micra in Thailand first followed by India in May 2010. Then it will produce in China and Mexico, however fifth plant is yet to be decided.The car is expected to compete in the B-plus segment in India, which includes the Maruti Suzuki Swift and Hyundai’s i-20.
Moreover, the company is pondering to accumulate imported cars like – Sedan Teana and SUV Xtrail at its Chennai plant.
