Google Adwords

Budding entrepreneurs and small business owners – here’s some good news for you as far as advertising is concerned. Google (no one wants a company profile, I am sure!), in India, intends to expand its advertiser base for its famous advertisement tool – AdWords.

To promote its ad tool, Google is penetrating the relatively smaller towns and cities and kicked off the activity with Chandigarh. The idea is to educate small business owners about the advantages of AdWords and make the tool popular. Google is offering INR 2500 worth free AdWords to the business outfits that sign up for the service. It will also offer a month of out-and-out customer support to manage the ad campaigns.

Sridhar Seshadri, Google India’s Head, Online Sales, said “Small and medium businesses have always wanted to advertise to get more business but that option has consistently remained beyond their reach because of the high costs associated. But with Google’s AdWords platform, they no longer have to worry as they can start advertising with a budget which as low as Rs200 per day and grow it as per their business demand.”
