Mindshare gets digital media innovation award at EMVIES’10 presented by Yahoo!

For the past nine years The Advertising Club Bombay has honored the best in the business of media through the prestigious EMVIES Awards. The EMVIES has grown from strength to strength in these years with the very active and enthusiastic support of the entire media fraternity. To recognize and reward the outstanding work done during the period April 2009 to March 2010, the Advertising Club Bombay invited entries for the EMVIES 2010. After a rigorous judging process, gold, silver and bronze awards were presented at an event held in Mumbai on 27th of this month.

Yahoo! India presented the Digital Media Innovation award to Mindshare at EMVIES 2010 organized by the Advertising Club Mumbai. The Digital Media Innovation category recognizes excellence, originality and uniqueness in the digital medium. The coveted award symbolizes Yahoo!’s ongoing commitment towards redefining the art of advertising by enhancing the creative canvas online and providing opportunities for brands to create a stronger connect with its consumers.

Yahoo! will also sponsor 2 people from the winning agency in this category to attend ‘Spikes Asia” – A summit for creativity, learning and recognition of Asia Pacific’s best work in advertising,” Nitin added.

Speaking on the great show put up by the agency, Madan Sanglikar, Principal Partner – Invention and head of digital, Mindshare said, “This is the 5th year in a row that Mindshare has dominated the digital awards at EMVIES. This year has been special since all the shortlists have been Mindshare. It clearly shows Mindshare’s focus on innovations in emerging media. The recognition from Yahoo! is the icing on the cake.”
