Global biggie in the micro-blogging arena, Twitter, has come together with budget handheld messaging firm, Peek, for its first mobile gadget. The first Twitter mobile device – named TwitterPeek – is available exclusively on Amazon.com. TwitterPeek comes at $99 and a monthly fee of $7.95 has to be committed. There is also a lifetime service deal for $199. This will allow users to tweet even when they are mobile and eliminate the need to own expensive smartphones.

Twitter has become a rage on the internet world and Peek is expected to benefit hugely from the association.
TwitterPeek comes with a 2.7×4 inch colour screen and a Qwerty keypad. The Twitter mobile device will initially be available in two colours – grey and aqua. TwitterPeek does not need a WiFi connection since it operates on high-speed wireless data networks.
Another gainful aspect of TwitterPeek is that it offers all features of Twitter. A user can send unlimited number of tweets and direct messages. The device will allow users to view links in texual format and Twitpic images.
