New TVC for Airtel Delhi Half Marathon

Airtel Delhi Half Marathon is going to have a new television commercial that is being created by Rediffusion Y&R. The target audience is the population – across the age band from children to elderly – living in the country’s capital city.

Bollywood star Shahrukh Khan has also been roped in for the advert. Khan opens the ad by introducing the campaign as he talks about the pleasure of running and shares experience of his growing-up years in Delhi. Incidentally, Shahrukh Khan has an extended association with the campaign apart from his part in commercial as a member to come on screen.

Shahrukh Khan-promoted Red Chillies is the production house behind the advertisement while Vishal Punjabi is the director.

The campaign also intends to promote the event through other media platforms like print and outdoor. The marathon’s media responsibilities rest with Madison.
