Nandini Bhalla is the new editor of COSMOPOLITAN India

The India Today Group announced the appointment of Nandini Bhalla as the new Editor of COSMOPOLITAN magazine in India. Nandini Bhalla moves from World Wide Media, where she was Editor for Grazia. In her new role as Editor, Cosmopolitan, she will be responsible for introducing fresh content, eye-catching layouts and glamorous beauty and fashion content, while maintaining the magazine’s iconic relationship-career-confidence mix.

Welcoming Nandini back to The India Today Group and speaking on the appointment, Mala Sekhri, COO, Lifestyle, India Today Group said, “Nandini has to shoulder the responsibility of strengthening what is already the bible of the Fun Fearless Females in India today. We look to her to steer COSMOPOLITAN’s popularity and build appeal among the young women that turn to the magazine for guidance on relationships, sex, career, health and almost every imaginable aspect of her life and style.”

Commenting on her appointment Bhalla said, “I am happy to be a part of the India Today Group, and excited about my new role. Cosmopolitan is the world’s largest-selling magazine for young women and a key influencer. After completing her journalism degree, Nandini worked with Cosmopolitan and Good Housekeeping magazines, heading the beauty and fashion pages. A Political Science graduate from Lady Shri Ram College, Nandini’s journalistic instincts started young at the age of eight when she launched her own children’s newspaper for private distribution. She was also associated with Indian Express and its youth supplement, Channel Y, through school and college.
