Tarun Bharat to launch Mumbai edition

The Marathi newspaper that is all set to celebrate its 25th anniversary in Goa on Jaunary 11 is geared up to launch the Mumbai edition of the paper.

According to the reports, to mark the silver jubliee celebrations, the newspaper will produce a 100 100-page edition on Monday, January 12, which has been titled as Vision 2025. The special edition will talk about the future of Goa, as seen through the eyes of prominent people from politics, education, culture and business.

The newspaper will also host a get-together of about 10,000 people, which will include a mix of its readers, advertisers and the staff to celebrate the silver jubliee of the paper.

Reports suggets that, the Mumbai edition, which the newspaper plans to launch will be launched till October of this year. Goa was the second edition of the newspaper, the first being Belgaum, Karnataka, launched in 1919.

At present, the newspaper has seven editions – Sindhudurg, Kolhapur, Sangli, Satara, Goa, Belgaum and Ratnagiri – spread across Karnataka, Maharashtra and Goa.
