After Zee it is Star India who acquired telecast rights of the films

Today in the morning we posted the news – ‘Zee bags telecast rights for Eros films’. The movies they bagged are – Love Aaj Kal, Kambakkht Ishq, Yuvraaj and Aa Dekhen Zara.

And, now it is Star India who acquired the telecast rights of the films.

Star India – an Indian entertainment television channel, has acquired the exclusive satellite rights for films such as, Amitabh’s Paa and Aladin, Salman Khan’s Wanted and Akshay Kumar’s De Dana Dan, for Rs 500 million. Phew!

Star India, EVP (marketing), Anupam Vasudav confirmed he news and said, “Yes, we have bought the rights of these four films on an exclusive basis.” However he did not comment anything on the acquisition price.

But, as per the media sources, Star India has paid Rs 500 million for the telecast rights.
