Chak Dhoom Dhoom on its way on Colors

Having already established the laudable talent present in the kids of India, with hit shows like Chhote Miyan season I and II, Chhote Miyan Bade Miyan, Colors is all set to make you come out of your reverie with a big boom with Rin presents Chak Dhoom Dhoom, a dance reality show that showcases little dancers who will compete for the coveted title of the Best Junior Dancing Star. Chak

Dhoom Dhoom will see children in the age group of 5 to 14 dance their way into your hearts starting April 30th every Friday and Saturday at 9 PM only on Colors.

Speaking on the show, Programming Head Ashvini said, "Colors has always been the front-runner in providing a platform for talented young ones. We began our endeavour with the first ever children's stand up comedy show, Chhote Miyan and followed it up with two more seasons. Now, extending our promise to continue with encouraging talent in the country, Chak Dhoom Dhoom is yet another step in that direction. With auditions being held all over the country in cities big and small, we have been able to unearth some outstanding little dancers."

On this occasion Deepak Dhar, MD, Endemol India Pvt. Ltd. says, comments: "India being filled with immense talent for song and dance, it is a great honor and pride for Endemol to bring forth a platform for children between the ages of 5-14 who can showcase their talent. The show encompasses all genres of dancing talents ranging from western to Indian; bringing together the "Guru's' of dance in the Indian industry who will be the mentors for these young dancers. The auditions have been an eye opener for us at

Endemol witnessing the sheer talent of young Indians. I am sure with this show we will surely entertain India."

Chak Dhoom Dhoom took the competition out of the studio to scout for the best dancing sensation across the nation. After sitting through innumerable auditions and intense initial screening the esteemed jury members Saroj Khan, Ahmed Khan and Vindu Dara Singh handpicked 40 deserving contestants who will face some more music, and dance, at the gala round in Mumbai! As the format of the show goes, these 40 will then be reduced to 16 finalists who will them compete against each other over a period of 13 weeks. While the children gear up for the national level challenge, the Dance Guruz Bosco-Ceaser will be working extremely hard to prepare their tiny chelas. The duo has already begun the process of evaluating children and started creating styles they can carry off. The show will see everything from rocking disco to graceful tangos, effortless Kathak to chatpati lavni!

Little wonder Saloni Daini will be present to play the role of the quintessential friend, guide, shoulder to cry on and instant pep talk generator to see these kids through difficult times. Keeping time with her is going to be none other than hunk Pravesh Rana who will be seen hosting the show in his own unique style.
