Earlier TDSAT in its interim order dated 27th July, 2010 had restrained MSMD from representing Viacom18 channels (Colors, MTV, Nick and VH1) and TDSAT in its order dated 29th July, 2010 had restrained STARDEN from representing Network 18 channels (CNBC, Aawaz, CNN IBN and IBN7). TDSAT has also passed interim order on 29th July, 2010 refusing the injunction sought by STARDEN against Network18.

MSMD and STARDEN filed an appeal in Delhi High Court Against the orders of TDSAT. After hearing the matter in detail, Delhi High Court in a single judgment dismissed the petitions filed by STARDEN and MSMD and also awarded costs to Network18 and Viacom18.

It's noteworthy that earlier Mumbai High also refused to grant injunction to MSMD in case against Viacom18 which case has been already withdrawn by MSMD.
