SET Max sells entire inventory to sponsors

Despite all the controversies around Indian Premiere League (IPL) it’s still fruitful for the official broadcasters. Set Max is all set to earn up to 60% more revenues from the third season of IPL matches, as the broadcaster has sold entire inventory to the sponsors.

According to the resports, the channel has sold the entire inventory meant for sponsors to Vodafone, Videocon, LG, Samsung, Pepsi Co, Godrej and Hyundai among others.

As per the media reports, the main two sponsors Videocon and Vodafone have bought 10-second slots for Rs 5.25 lakh, PepsiCo, Hindustan Unilever, LG, Samsung and Godrej have paid Rs 4.5-4.7 lakh for every 10 seconds.

The strong speculation doing the rounds is that the channel has set a huge target for revenue and is eyeing an amount of Rs 900 crore from the tournament this season.
