Network18 Digital's CEO Durga Raghunath quits...!

Durga Raghunath, who currently holds the position of the CEO, Network18 Digital decided to call it quits. While Raghunath has confirmed the news to Adgully, she refrained from sharing her next move. However, sources close to the development state that, most of the senior officials who quit Network18 in the last couple of months, are speculated to head to Raghav Behl’s new venture.

Earlier to this, Raghunath was the CEO of Firstpost.com, the news and opinion portal from the Network18 Group. It was only in April 2014, that Raghunath was appointed as CEO of Network18 Digital after Lakshmi Narasimhan, who held this position earlier moved to a corporate role. And while we are on the subject, rumours have it that Narasimhan also put in his papers at Network18 just recently.

Possessing over a decade of experience in publishing (books and digital) Raghunath has previously worked with the Wall Street Journal, Mint and HarperCollins in New York. She had joined Network18 in 2011 and conceptualised and launched Firstpost.com.

While her next destination is not known yet, we wish Durga Raghunath luck for her future endeavours.
