Omron names Sameer Gandhi as Managing Director

Omron Industrial Automation, a global manufacturer of automation products and a leading provider of application expertise, today announced the appointment of Sameer Gandhi as its Managing Director (MD) for India. As the new MD, Gandhi will be responsible for Omron Industrial Automation’s strategic growth and expansion in India, bringing global best practices and technologies to critical Indian industries.

Gandhi brings an experience of over 23 years across multiple disciplines and vertical industries. He joins OMRON from ABB, India where he served as Vice-President Strategic Account Management, focusing on strengthening relationships with key customers in India across various ABB business verticals. Prior to this, he has held various diverse responsibilities including sales, operations and P&L  serving several industry verticals including Minerals and Cement, Pulp & Paper and Robotics.
