RAM This Week | Mirchi tops it in Kolkata, highest share among all cities

With the Radio auctions coming closer, the stations are all set to get a wider audience base. It has been yet another week in the Radio universe, and we present to you RAM for Week 2 (January 4-10).

According to reports sourced from RAM subscribers, we have a tough competition among the radio stations in the four leading metros, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Bangalore. Let’s take a look where each one stands in their respective city.

Mumbai

Radio City has been on the number one position ever since the year began. In week 2 it saw a market share of 19.1 percent, followed by Radio Mirchi with a market share of 14.6 percent. At number three is Fever 104 with a 13.1 percent market share and it is followed by Red FM with a share of 11.7 percent.

Delhi

While city tops the financial capital of the country, Fever tops the list in the capital city with a market share of 19.1 percent. At number two is Radio Mirchi with a market share of 13.1 percent followed by Radio City with a share of 12.5 percent. Red FM has taken a back seat in this city as well with a 11.3 percent market share.

Kolkata

Radio Mirchi topped this city with a total market share of 20.8 percent while Oye 104.8 FM is at number two with a 11.2 percent share. At number three is Radio One with a 10.4 percent share.

Bangalore

Radio City topped this Electronic City with a share of 22.5 percent which was the highest market share among other stations. It is followed by Radio Mirchi which saw a 17.7 percent market share. At number three is Fever 104 with a 11.5 percent share.
