The cult show introducing the city and the story before Batman, premieres, 14th September, 10:00pm only on Zee Cafe

Witness the origins of the infamous city as Zee Café, the premium English Entertainment channel, brings a chronicle of evolutions of villains and super heroes to India for the very first time. This prequel series to Batman’s origin, Gotham (Season 1), will premiere on 14th September 2015 at 10:00 PM only on Zee Café.

Everyone knows the name Commissioner Gordon. But what is not known is his rise from rookie detective to Police Commissioner. The show also unfolds the rise of the world’s most iconic supervillains like Catwoman, The Penguin, The Riddler, Two-Face & The Joker. Gotham is the precursor to the rise of Batman as we know, revealing an entirely new chapter that has never been told.

Season 1 chronicles the rise of Catwoman (Selina Kyle) from a petty cat burglar to one of Batman’s greatest nemesis. Also get to know the story behind super villains like the Penguin (Oswald Cobblepot) The Riddler (Edward Nygma), mob boss Fish Mooney and Batman -in-the-making (Bruce Wayne).

In an effort to bring the experience of Gotham closer to its viewers, Zee Café will be hosting a special screening before the premiere of the show for the fans in a three city event - Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad in association with Comic Con India. Apart from premiering the first episode of the show, ‘Gotham Night’ aims to create a unique interaction by bringing all the fans of the Batman franchise together.
