TV This Week | Colors, Zee TV and Life Ok saw a decline

The third last week of the year saw a decline in the Hindi GEC space. Week 50 (December 7-13, 2014) saw an increase in ratings for Sony, SAB TV and needless to say Star Plus.

According to data sourced from TAM subscribers, Star Plus has been on the top position which saw an increase from 642 million GVTs last week to 661 million GVTs this week.

Consistently on the number two is Colors which saw a decline in its ratings from 476 million GVTs last week to 450 million GVTs this week. 

While Zee TV is on the third position, it saw a decline from 419 million GVTs last week to 398 million GVTs in week 50. 

Life OK has managed to be on the fourth spot for a while now. It also saw a decline from 296 million GVTs last week to 289 million GVTs this week. 

On the fifth spot is SAB TV which for a change saw an increase in its viewership from 281 million GVTs last week to 288 million GVTs this week.

 

Sony Entertainment Television is on the last spot which saw an increase in its raings from 226 million GVTs last week to 229 million GVTs in week 50.

In the new Hindi GECs Zindagi saw a marginal increase from 31 million GVTs last week to 33 million GVTs in the week that ended. Rishtey saw a substantial increase in its ratings this week from 58 million GVTs in week 49 to 67 million GVTs in week 50. Sony Pal on the other hand saw its ratings decline from 33 million GVTs last week to 31 million GVTs in week 50.
