Vh1 is all set to present Video Music Awards 2015 & X Factor Season 12

Get ready to start your week with a musical bang as Vh1, the pioneer in international music and entertainment is all set to air two highly anticipated properties ‘Video Music Awards 2015’ on Monday, 31^st August at 9:00 pm and ‘X Factor Season 12 premiering on Tuesday,1^st September, every Monday and Tuesday at 9pm. With world-class performances, jaw dropping appearances and a star-studded guest list, both the shows are nothing short of entertainment extravaganzas.

Talking about broadcasting the two globally reckoned shows on the channel, Ferzad Palia, EVP & Head - English Entertainment, Viacom18 says, “Our previous showcases of international reality shows and LIVE international awards on Vh1 have received an overwhelming response. Touted to be the one of the biggest nights in music history, the Video Music Awards 2015 will be bought to Indian viewers from the capital of the entertainment universe, Los Angeles, on Monday, August 31st, 2015 at 9:00 pm. This year will witness pop Queen Miley Cyrus take the stage at the awards function as the show’s host. Miley was just 15 when she attended her first VMAs in 2008. Since then, she's made headlines at the show time and again, thanks to the memorable moments like her epic twerk-filled performance in 2013 and 2014's gracious Video of The Year acceptance speech to benefit homeless youth. With Miley as the host we’ll also see the nominee frontrunners like Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Kendrick Lamar, Ed Sheeran and many more. This is one show in music history worth tuning in for.

Premiering on 1^st September at 9pm on the channel, X Factor is one music reality show which truly celebrates the spirit of competition. A successful reality TV format where ‘anyone and everyone can audition’. The show will have aspiring singers brave the panel of judges and the British public to stake their claim for the winner’s title. The 12^th season of the show will see talent show veteran Simon Cowell and popular singer Cheryl Cole take up their judges' chairs again.  New additions will include Olly Murs & Caroline who will bring their chemistry and charm to the show as the first ever duo to host the hit singing show.
