YRF's 'Diva'ni' to be India's first cinema inspired fashion brand

YRF in association with KBSH showcases the first look of Diva’ni – India’s first cinema inspired fashion brand. Offering a sneak peek into the majestic world of traditional Indian weaves and exquisite zari, the much-awaited brand is a fashion extraordinaire. Reminiscing the richness of Indian heritage and our cultural diversity, Diva’ni ensembles juxtapose a generation of Indian craftsmanship with contemporary tailoring.

The inaugural collection will be an experiential journey to the bespoke couture world of Diva’ni and its 9 eclectic collections adorned and celebrated by 9 distinguished divas of Yash Chopra who will be seen gracing the ramp.

The evergreen Sridevi will be gracing the ramp in the Royal Rajputana flavour set in a vibrant palette of prism colours exuding the luminosity of Indian Royalty,

The effervescent Madhuri Dixit and her angelic beauty is purely brought out by a suave collection of under-toned sequenced handwork inspired by her simplicity and charm.

This will be the first time ever that these two divas will be walking the ramp together, on this occasion.

The craftsmanship exemplified within Diva’ni‘s design philosophy is as priceless as the woman who adorns it. Sensuous fabrics ranging from rich brocades, fine net tulle, malmal, chanderi’s to chiffon’s, georgette’s & French lace, each drape is a dream of exquisite workmanship using pure gold hand weaves, Rajputhana gotta patti and the exclusive hand paints adding a hint of global charm to the traditional Indian wear.

“Our endeavour at Diva’ni has been to create pieces of art which celebrate womanhood, varied in colours, textures, moods and emotions. One of the most exhilarating collections that we personally love is the hand painted collection where we recreate the magic of brush strokes on fabrics to create ensembles that are nothing less than canvas paintings” Parinita & Anjali (Designers, Diva’ni)
