Zindagi Jodey Dilon Ko this Independence Day!

Over the years, several efforts have been made to bring the two nations together and many have proved fruitful too. India’s latest New Premium Hindi Entertainment Channel Zindagi is one such initiative that has brought the two nations closer to each other. Art is not confined by any boundaries and this is proven by the fact that Indian artists, films and tele series are very popular in Pakistan. For the first time in the history of television, Zindagi has taken a path breaking initiative of presenting shows from Pakistan to Indian viewers. The channel telecasts hit shows and telefilms from Pakistan to give the Indian audience a glimpse of the culture and way of living on the other side of the border.

Popular actor Fawad Khan (featured in Zindagi Gulzar Hai) shared his message on Independence Day, “I hope that peace, harmony and freedom continue to be a part of our lives. I wish you all Happy Independence day”

Speaking on the occasion, renowned Pakistani actor Adnan Siddiqui (featured in Maat and Mere Qatil Mere Dildaar on Zindagi) said, “The way Zindagi has started, it is a big sign of hope on building good relations and bonds between the two countries. Zindagi means new life, a new start and I see this as a completely new start to a new friendship between India and Pakistan. With exchange of content through entertainment, there is a high scope for understanding the cultures and lifestyles of the two countries.
