22feet Tribal Worldwide strengthens senior management

In a recent announcement, 22feet Tribal Worldwide, one of India’s leading digital solutions providers, stated some key developments on the people front. 

 The agency has appointed Vanaja Pillai to head its Bengaluru business. Pillai (Erstwhile Executive Vice-President, OgilvyOne - Bengaluru) comes with nearly two decades of experience in business management and marketing communications; with a large part of it focussed on setting up practices across different functions, including design & creative delivery, public relations, business communications and advertising. She has also worked with a range of start-ups across the education and technology sectors and has been instrumental in converting ideas into strong businesses. At 22feet Tribal Worldwide, Pillai will be responsible for managing and growing the team’s impressive client roster. 

 In the North, Vishal Mehra has been appointed to spearhead the building of the agency’s digital planning practice. In addition to this, he will also be responsible for growing the team and the business for 22feet Tribal Worldwide’s North unit. Mehra comes with over 13 years of experience in working with Fortune 100 brands across industries and he has played an integral role in creating and leading digital practices at top consultancies, agencies as well as start-ups. He has also been involved in bringing category-building digital products in the country. 

 In the West, Rohan Talati has been elevated to head the business operations for the agency’s Mumbai team. A digital native with over eight years of experience in business development and brand management, Talati will be responsible for growing the Mumbai business as well as diversifying the agency’s capabilities in both the creative and technology verticals. He currently manages a team of 80+ people and a client portfolio comprising of brands from various sectors. 

 To strengthen the agency’s digital strategy function, Ramraaj Raghunathan has been elevated to the position of Head - Strategy, 22feet Tribal Worldwide. He has been associated with the agency for over seven years and has been responsible for leading new business efforts across agency units. In his new role, Raghunathan will be working closely with teams across units and brands, leading new business pitches, developing systems and services for clients and charting growth areas for the agency. 

 In the past year, profitability and organic growth at 22feet Tribal Worldwide have been driven by technology-led projects. Adding momentum to this effort, Azharuddin A, erstwhile a New Business Lead with the agency, will lead a focused mandate on User Experience & Branded Products. One of the first set of employees of the agency, Azharuddin has an extensive experience of working at the intersection of business, technology and user experience.
