24 Community Radio Stations announced as nodal point by MIB

24 Community Radio Stations has been declared as Lead Community Radio Stations by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. MIB said that for the purpose of dissemination of information associated with the community radio movement in India, these stations will act as the nodal point. A data bank will also be created which will consist of basic details on the aspirants who are identified as potential for CRS in the region, and these information may be shared with MIB because of its outreach programmes. It will also be required by the stations to form a standing help desk facility, for facilitating organisations with helpline mobile number and the latter will be made public on their website as well as on other platforms.
