2baconil sends an evocative message to smokers through #AbDhuaanNahi

With the World Health Organization’s April 2020 report confirming – that smokers are at higher risk when affected by COVID-19, 2baconil was determined to urge their audience to give up the habit of smoking; letting them know that if they needed help in the process, 2baconil was right by their side.

2baconil®, in association with BC Web Wise rolled out an inspiring and empowering film on #AbDhuaanNahi – amidst the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown. The film touches upon how each and every one of us have tried our hands at taking up new responsibilities, roles, hobbies, passions and activities to align ourselves to what we call the new normal.

This world no tobacco day, let your fingers write a different story. Quit smoking with 2baconil patches and start your journey today. #WorldNoTobaccoDay #2baconil #QuitSmoking

Focusing on the story that while our fingers are exploring new things to do, the one thing it has now left behind is holding a cigarette between them.

This poetic write up clubbed with some heartfelt visuals of everything our fingers are rediscovering and setting out on new journeys on, has the potential to touch lives and inspire users to let go of the habit of smoking for good.

Malavika Kaura Saxena, Director, Domestic Marketing, Rusan Pharma Ltd. shared,

“When we urge smokers to turn to 2baconil’s nicotine patch therapy, we want them to complete their 3-month therapy and never look back at smoking or their dependence on nicotine, ever again. These are unexpected times and while we all fight together, to come out of this stronger, we believed that it was imperative to send out a message that encourages our users to look at the bright side – there’s no better time to try your hand at everything you’ve wanted to; and an even better moment to give quitting cigarettes a chance.

I’m personally extremely happy at what the team has managed to achieve.”

Chaaya Baradhwaaj, Founder and MD, BC Web Wise added,
“The content is relatable to each and every one of us, it sends an evocative message to smokers across to reminisce on their passions and start their journey to  quit smoking. I am also proud of our team who turned this around overnight."
Dinesh Swamy, Chief Creative Officer, BC Web Wise mentioned,
“We all are consuming content every minute #AbDhuaanNahi is an intent to remind everyone, while we all rediscover different aspects of ourselves during our confinement, we’ve all taken to our hobbies, passions or simply engrossed ourselves in work.  Let your fingers write a different story this time around, the one of you spending more time with your loved ones, pursuing your passions, excelling at work and most importantly quitting the habit of smoking for good.”

Rohit Kanojia, Film’s Head, BC Web Wise

“The idea was very insightful to the current context. Though with Lockdown technical challenges, we are now equipped and seamlessly giving justice to every story we produce for our brands.”
