A one of its kind Fairy Tale

Thus, she is eager to know more and goes in search of the man who painted it - Maara.  And in her pursuit to find Maara encounters people and incidents that are filled with art, drama, romance and hope.

A Visual Delight enhanced by Soulful Music

As seen in the trailer, the film is set in pictureseque locations enhanced by some breathtaking paintings making it high on aesthetic and visual appeal. Even the musical track embedded in the trailer, promises that the fairy tale beautifully blends Ghibran’s music with its riveting and relatable storyline, making for a compelling watch.

R Madhavan back with a romantic film

From Rehna Hai Tere Dil me, Jodi Breakers to Alai Payuthey, Madhavan is a popular for his ‘Lover Boy’ characters. The way he captures audiences’ heart with his innocent smile is simply adorable. Maara marks the return of R. Madhavan to the romantic genre of films as he will be seen acting in a musical romance drama after a very long time.

R Madhavan and Shraddha Srinath’s on-screen re-union after Vikram Vedha

R Madhavan and Shraddha Srinath, who were last seen together weaving their magic in Vikram Vedha collaborate together for an entirely diverse world filled with romance and melody, in completely different avataars and bringing to fore newer emotions.  Maara brings Shraddha as Paaru, a young woman who is in search of Maara, an artist, played by R. Madhavan.

A unique rendition of highly successful Malayalam film Charlie

Maara is a beautiful and unique rendition of Malayalam film Charlie, which had Dulquer Salmaan and Parvathy in the lead roles. The film is woven around the core theme of Charlie, but is retelling the story with new plots and subplots. While R. Madhavan brings to life a new interpretation of Dulquer’s role, Shraddha Srinath adds more magic to the role played by Parvathy.

Maara marks the feature film debut of Dhilip Kumar who had directed a short film titled Kalki in 2015. Produced by Prateek Chakravorty and Shruti Nallappa of Pramod Films, Maara also stars Sshivada Nair, Alexander Babu and Mouli.
