92.7 BIG FM launches Green Humour Mimicry Show

Radio channel 92.7 BIG FM offers Green Humour Mimicry Show called Asli No. 1. Being presented by title sponsor India Gate Basmati Rice and associate sponsor Zafri Pan Masala, Asli No. 1 is poised to be one of the biggest and first ever humour mimic hunts, creating awareness in the "green space'. The launch event saw none other than John Abraham stepping forward in support of the initiative with the hope (Aashayein) of a greener tomorrow.

Spread across 42 cities of the country, Asli No. 1 is BIG FM's hunt for India's next BIG mimicker, providing entertainment, while drawing listeners' attention to real issues caused by the lack of consciousness towards the environment. Leveraging the "local' power of radio, the activity will be able to effectively reach and engage consumers as it will reflect "green issues' that impact their lives. Truly a great example of entertainment with a purpose.

On the environment front organizations like UNEP's Billion Tree Campaign, Carbon Minus India and IISD have leant their support. Novotel, Mumbai has supported the activity as the Hospitality partner while the music company Saregama will be releasing a special album featuring the eventual winner of ASLI NO 1.
