94.3 Radio One celebrates 11th year with new audience tracker

94.3 Radio One India the brand owned by Next Radio Ltd, a subsidiary of Next Mediaworks Ltd will commence its 11th year celebrations from Sept 4, 2018 to peak on Sept 18, 2018, the day of the anniversary. The celebrations in its 7 cities of operation will continue till the end of October 2018.

The 11th anniversary of 94.3 RADIO ONE will see the launch of it’s unique audience tracker called the INTERNATIONAL INDIAN ANNUAL MONITOR report. This, the first time for any media company in India, tracks  ‘brand/category preference’ behaviour of 4.2 Mn upscale listeners (as per IRS) of 94.3 Radio One in Delhi, Mumbai & Bangalore – The largest media markets . The annual report has a foreword by respected industry stalwarts – Sam Balsara, Sunil Lulla, Ashish Pherwani, Leo Puri, Madhu Dutta, Sulina Menon & Subhodip Pal.

This pioneering report was created with queries pertaining to brands/categories that were designed as ‘help questions’ and not research. These 'help questions' were asked by Radio ONE RJs on its stations and 1.3 million fans of 94.3 Radio One on facebook. The questions sought genuine listener advice and listeners helped their favourite RJs in making real life product / brand choices. Being India’s largest international format radio network, we are refreshing the sound design of the station to be even more current. This will help listeners feel the ‘renewed connect with a global quality sound’. We will have the legendary Kabir Bedi anchoring a new program on air called #OneWon that showcases how 1+1 = 11. It highlights unique situations that came together during the year to create a winning combination! The company has designed a new logo to commemorate the 11th year with the tagline – Celebrating 11 different years. Station heads of 94.3 Radio One, across all the 7 cities, have kicked off a special 2-month program that involves health check-up camps, motivational offsite visits and special movie screenings and fun outings for both employees & listeners.
