A stand-out product deserves stand out advertising.

These days, ads for Topline pipes and water tanks are all the rage. Cleverly thought through as funny as well as entertaining scripts and produced by Media World Films, and aptly marketed across media by Olevea, a 360o communications ad agency, these 3 new ads will be seen on various TV channels as well as on YouTube and social media.

Not only do the ads have a great cast including the superstar Govinda, the Great Khali and the energetic performer Rajpal Yadav, they also have entertaining and fun-filled scripts which tell the USP’s of the products in an engaging manner.

The ad for the tank talks off its cooling properties through its patented insulation system in an extremely funny manner. A thief (Rajpal Yadav), in trying to escape from the police hides in a tank and inspector (Govinda) and his Havaldar notice him jumping into the tank. The Havaldar feels that the thief will jump out in 10 minutes as the temperature rises in the tank. However, the inspector informs him that the tank is made with a patented insulation system which keeps the tank much cooler than the outside. And so, the crook has to be fetched out.

The pipes, being about strength, include Khali for a perfectly hilarious casting of the towering and muscled Khali as the normal sized Rajpal Yadav’s younger brother in two LOL scripts. In the first script, Rajpal wants to take a shower but is unable to open the jammed bathroom door. Khali, his younger brother simply smashes a gigantic hole in the wall with his fist. The brick and cement wall breaks but the strong Topline pipes fitted in the wall don’t.

The second script is visually an LOL riot. Rajpal’s head is showering water like a fountain and the world starts to call him Leaku Kumar. Khali has taken his elder brother to the doctor (Govinda) for a cure. The cure is that the Doctor hands Leaku a Topline pipe and immediately Leaku stops dripping and leaking.

As one of India’s leading manufacturers of Blow & Roto water storage tanks as well as PVC & HDPE pipes and fittings in India, Topline Industries focusses on providing innovation in their products to meet consumer needs and deliver exceptional consumer experience.

Topline is known for being an innovator in its category. We firmly believe that innovation is a part of our soul, not just our products. As innovators we should be innovative in everything we do – even our advertising and marketing plans should be innovative and should stand out in the category’, says Mr Dushyant Palriwal, Director – Topline Industries.

The films have been conceived, written and directed by Mr. Rajesh Bhardwaj, whose experience of over a decade helps him delve into the public psyche and create what his audience wants to see. His lateral thinking makes him much more than a filmmaker; he is also a brand developer.

Mr. Rajesh Bhardwaj says, ‘In the tough straight-forward communications market of this category, it was a pleasure to create great stories and then retro-fit the stars according to the need.’ He further adds, “It takes a brave client to allow for those kinds of creative liberties. Hats off to the management of Topline who support creativity.’

The management has also shown this support to their media and creative agency – Olevea. As one of India’s fastest growing communication houses Olevea has the mandate for marketing these films and the products across digital and social media as well as create outdoor communications for the brand. With their energetic creative team and rich media experience, Olevea is on the path to creating clutter-busting on ground communication for the brand.

Says Mr. Sarvam Bansal, MD of Olevea, ‘This is the kind of mandate that is, at once, both challenging and yet enjoyable. Challenging because the market has so many players that every creative has to be on point so that the brand can make its presence felt, and enjoyable because the client has supported every creative idea that the agency has generated.’

Of course, when the products themselves have very strong USPs, the creative process becomes little simpler and it is only correct that two such awesome products get awesome communications. We can only say ‘Congratulations’ to Topline and their creative partners while wishing them many more creative moments.
