Aaj Tak has continued to maintain its unbroken supremacy in the Hindi News genre in Week 25 (Saturday, 20th June 2020 to Friday, 26th June 2020) as well. As per BARC data [HSM (U+R) : NCCS All : 2+ Individuals], the channel has garnered a gross viewership of 255,808(000) in Week 25. Aaj Tak’s cumulative reach in Week 25 stood at 130,877(000) [Source – BARC, TG-15+, Market – HSM, Period – Wk20'20 - Wk 25’20, Cume Rch'000]. This was a slight dip compared to Week 24 [141,422(000)], but higher than Week 23 [118,914(000)]. Aaj Tak reported a market share of 14.8 per cent in Week 25. 

Meanwhile, TV9 Bharatvarsh was placed in the second spot, garnering a gross viewership of 220,240(000). In terms of market share, the channel had a 12.6 per cent share. The channel had been witnessing a steady climb in the last few weeks – recording 10.2 per cent in Week 24 and 9.9 per cent in Week 23 and 9.7 per cent in Week 22 [Source – BARC, TG-15+, Market – HSM, Period – Wk20'20 - Wk 25’20]. TV9 Bharatvarsh’s cumulative reach in Week 25 stood at 93,470(000). 

Zee News was up at No. 3, recording a gross viewership of 206,348(000). The channel’s market share was a tad below TV9 Bharatvarsh at 12.1 per cent. Zee News recorded a cumulative reach of 98,616(000). 

With a gross viewership of 193,963(000), India TV was placed in the fourth spot in Week 25. The channel reported a market share of 11.3 per cent, while its cumulative reach stood at 103,640(000). The channel slid from its No. 2 spot of the previous weeks. 

Placed at No. 5 was Republic Bharat, which recorded a gross viewership of 179,977(000). The channel’s market share stood at 10.5 per cent in Week 25. Republic Bharat’s cumulative reach was recorded at 111,062(000).
