Abdul Khan returns to Reliance Ind. after 7 years!
Abdul Khan is making a comeback to Reliance Industries after a period of seven years at Tata Teleservices Ltd. Khan had joined Reliance in 2000 and was responsible for launching their mobile services.
In 2009 Khan was Head of GSM marketing and Advisor to Managing Director at Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Ltd.(TTML) Later he moved on to become Senior Vice President and National Head of Business Marketing during his stint with them.
Abdul Khan spoke to Adgully with regard to the latest development. He said, “I had an extremely fulfilling time with the Tata Group which has given me an opportunity to work on various new telecom projects.”
He is now on the board at Reliance Industries and will be a part of the core team of Mukesh Ambani where he will be working on the Group’s new initiatives in the telecom sector.
A graduate from IIT (Kharagpur) and IIM( Ahmedabad) he also has vast experience in brand marketing and advertising . Earlier in his career he has worked with RK Swamy BBDO, Mudra Communications and Asian Paints.
