According to the BARC, India TV secures the number one position

The Union Budget 2023 was announced by the Finance Minister, Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman on February 1st and India TV emerged as the top Hindi News Channel on that day among the 9 other channels that refrain from using landing page strategies to boost viewership numbers. According to the BARC data released on Thursday, February 9th, India TV had 9043 Gross AMA 000s and secured the number one position. It was followed by Aaj Tak with 9013 Gross AMA 000s and TV9 Bharatvarsh with 8974 Gross AMA 000s.

As it was the need of the hour to make the Union Budget 2023 accessible and understandable to the viewers, India TV hosted the "Samvad Budget Conclave 2023" on February 3rd at a prestigious venue in Delhi.

The Conclave brought together prominent leaders from both the ruling BJP government and the opposition to discuss and analyse the budget. The event was attended by top-level political leaders, including the finance minister, Smt Nirmala Sitharaman, who provided a detailed explanation of the budget and addressed criticisms from the opposition. Other significant cabinet ministers such as the Commerce & Industry Minister Piyush Goyal, the Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, and the Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, also participated and answered questions related to their respective ministries and the budget as a whole.
