Actor Krishna Kotian breaks through Avrodh 2

Actor Krishna Kotian who made his debut at the age of 51 with the Rajinikanth starrer 'Darbar' has been on an upward curve on Indian OTT Platforms. The actor was seen in web series like Main Hero Boll Raha Hu, Rocket Boys, Bestseller, Masaba Masaba, Twisted 3, etc. His recent web-series Avrodh 2 released last Friday.

The actor, who has three more releases lined up for 2022, says: "I am glad that I could be a part of Avrodh 2. Season one of the show was a success and hence with the second season, the expectations of the audiences were pretty high. The second season of Avrodh is not exactly a sequel but a parallel story. The season will explain to the Indians at large about how various Government departments like the Army and the Income Tax work hand in hand. There is promise in the story and premise – I got to really excited about the project after reading Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh’s book ‘India’s Most Fearless’ on which the series is based. Also, the underappreciated role of an informant network is highlighted for the first time in details in an Indian Web-Series”

Kotian earlier worked at leading agencies such as Lintas, J. Walter Thomson, Cineyug and was the COO at MAD Studies before taking the plunge into acting. “It was an absolute delight to be in the same series with actors like Abir Chaterjee, Aahana Kumra, Neeraj Kabi, Sanjay Suri, Anant Mahadevan, Krishna Hebbale, Mohan Agashe, Rajesh Khattar, and Vijay Krishnan. The director Raj Acharya was clear on what he expected from my character and that helped me the most to essay it on-screen. It was my second assignment with Team Juggernaut after ‘Main Hero Boll Raha Hu’ and I was happy that my hard work has begun to get recognition” said an ecstatic Krishna as he signed off for the moment.
