Actors say #BaatUthaoBaatBadlo at Star Parivaar Awards 2018

Starplus’ leading men Mohit Malik, Gaurav Sareen and Raghav Juyal will be seen joining hands to support and encourage women to speak up about the atrocities faced by them through a powerful performance at Star Parivaar Awards 2018. The thought-provoking performance is all set to re-iterate the message of #BaatUthaoBaatBadlo and will showcase the grave realities of crimes against women and how time has finally come to put an end it. The performance will not only open the eyes of the viewers but is bound to make them feel empowered.

In the present scenario where millions of women are standing up and speaking their mind on the issues they face on a day to day basis, the performance will be hard-hitting and opens the doors for voices which were suppressed to be heard loud and clear.  Commenting on the performance, Mohit Malik, who plays the role of Sikander on Kulfi Kumarr Bajewala, revealed, “It is highly disturbing to hear the number of stories which have come to light in the recent time. The #BaatUthaoBaatBadlo is a small step which will go a long way to encourage the women to stand up and empower them to speak about the trauma faced. Through our performance we wanted to showcases the seriousness of the matter and how the time has come for the rise of a powerful movement which gives hope to the millions of women regarding their safety in India. I am grateful that we got an opportunity to extend our support to this pertinent issue at the Star Parivaar Awards and it is high time to create a safe and better place for the women.”
