Ad Club of Bombay announces shortlisted entries for Media Abbys 2011
GoaFest 2011 has started its judging and executing process in full swing. On Saturday the Ad Club of Bombay put up the list of shortlisted entries for Media Abbys on its online platform. This year around 133 entries have been shortlisted whereas on the other hand the shortlisted entries were around just 87 of them.
The entries have been shortlisted across 16 categories, two categories being added this time around with the newly included- The Festival of Media, Montreux, hosting two of its categories – ‘Best Communication Strategy’ and ‘Best Contribution to a Campaign by a Media Owner’.
Maxus has the maximum number of entries, a total of around 33 entries. The media agency is followed by Mindshare and Lodestar UM, with 19 entries each. Mudra Max follows with around 16 entries.
Mediacom has around 11 entries, followed by Creativeland Asia with 5 entrie. OMD, Madison Media Infinity 1 and Madison Media Plus have 4 entries each. Followed by MEC India with 3 entries. McCann Worldgroup, Mates Madison, RK Swamy Media Group, Percept Media, Isobar and Dialog Factory all have 2 entries each. Lintas Media Group, Starcom Worldwide and TELibrahma Convergent have 1 shortlisted entry each.
The final round of judging will take place on March 21, 2011. Media Abbys will be held on the April 8, 2011 which happens to be the fourth day of the celebrated GoaFest 2011. The Media Abbys is being led by R Gowthaman, Leader, Mindshare, South Asia. | By Prabha Hegde [prabha(at)adgully.com]
