They must identify their needs and then create content that is applicable to those needs.

When talking about the future of Social Media Chopra envisions that the bubble will burst in certain aspects like the pages in a social network, "everyone is going after numbers that will burst." He believes that the consumers are going to drive this medium as social media gives people a platform to share their views, thus forcing business owners to become a part of this medium.

According to Chopra, Social Media is a fast moving journey which requires certain ground rules. Firstly, one must have a clear business objective. Secondly, one must know your customer and their concerns and serve them accordingly. By doing so it adds weightage to your brand, otherwise it will backfire. Thirdly, "transparency works" one must be able to embrace their mistakes. Lastly, listen and then engage the customer. Meager promotion will not work. Chopra says, "By the people, for the people. Follow that principle"
