Adidas India Head, Dave Thomas elevated to the role of MD, Emerging Markets

Adidas, manufacturer of sporting goods and accessories, has elevated their Head of India operations, Dave Thomas to the role of Managing Director for Emerging Markets. Thomas will succeed Martin Shankland who has joined as an executive member of the Adidas board. Thomas will assume his duties beginning 1st of April. The company is now looking for his replacement in India.

In his new role, Thomas would handle emerging market portfolio, which encompasses regions such as India, Africa, Middle East, and Turkey. He will report to Roland Auschel, Executive Board Member, global sales at Adidas. He will continue to inspect and oversee the Indian operations till his successor is found.

Dave Thomas has been with the Adidas group since February 1998 and later as the Managing Director of Adidas India from October 2014.
