Affle's Laga Bintang continues to entertain Indonesian football fans

Laga Bintang, the unique mobile football magazine for Indonesia, completed a year of great success, enthralling and informing fans about local and international football content. P&G, a front runner in digital marketing, played an active part in the development of the concept and is happy to receive an endorsement of the concept from Indonesian football fans.

Laga Bintang was conceptualised in 2011 jointly by the Affle Group and LiquidThread, the content specialist division within Starcom MediaVest Group in active collaboration with P&G.

The Laga Bintang app and the site have been completely revamped to sport a new and a much more exciting look. The new avatar will work towards further improving P&G’s brand association with the young consumers they are targeting through this innovation. Already Laga Bintang has proven to be one of the most popular app of its kind in Indonesia.

P&G will continue its partnership on Laga Bintang as the mobile magazine enters year two, in partnership with top local and regional content partners and MediaCom as the media agency. In addition to getting updates, news, views, scores and analysis on their mobile phones, fans will now also have the opportunity to participate in exciting contests and win prizes.

“Affle Group acknowledges the contributions of its founding and current partners on Laga Bintang. We will continue to work with our partners in creating unique media properties, where all key players work together for raising industry standards and brands benefit by reaching out effectively to their consumers.” said, Anuj Khanna Sohum, Founder and Chairman, Affle Group.
