Airbnb India's #LiveThere Campaign wins a Silver at APAC Effies Awards

Airbnb’s global campaign #LiveThere firmly emphasized company’s global mission 'Belong Anywhere'. Urging guests to break away from mundane travel experiences by discovering destinations through the eyes of locals, the new campaign aimed to connect millions of hosts and guests around the world to participate in immersive travel.

Airbnb India launched the #LiveThere Campaign across TV, Print, Digital and OOH in India with both Static and Video Content along with Influencer Marketing and UGC led activation on Social. The campaign aimed to inspire travellers to reimagine the way they travel, showcasing authentic, curated experiences made possible through Airbnb and its people-powered community.

Talking about the victory, Varun Raina, Marketing Manager Airbnb India said ‘Airbnb is the antidote to modern, mass produced tourism. We know that every traveler is different and every host is unique. Together, we help people around the world not just go somewhere, but truly live there. The Effies award strengthens our belief in the power of people to people connections and the supporting locals wherever people travel on Airbnb”

Organised by the Confederation of Asian Advertising Agency Associations (CAAAA) and Tenasia Group, the Asia Pacific Effie Awards honours the region’s most outstanding marketing communication works that have proven results in meeting strategic objectives. Winners of the 2018 competition were announced at the Awards Gala which was held at the Four Seasons Hotel, Singapore on 27 April 2018.
